British chocolate-maker Terrys have launched a supersized version of their iconic chocolate orange in time for Christmas.
The Terry’s Chocolate Pumpkin weighs in at three stone, and is the size of a Swiss exercise ball – which would burst on contact with any glazed-eyed family member after they’ve troughed the delicious new Christmas treat.
Terrys small child-sized indulgence will rival other Christmas special edition chocolates, including the 1 tonne Quality Street Christmas Skip and the Dairy Milk Door. This year will be the most successful Christmas ever for mouth-smeared, “I need crisps now” chocolate consumption.
This is what we’re up against, say Terrys
Gluttony representatives welcomed the decision. “I’m going to need a trolley to move this mound of orangey chocolate deliciousness between the sofa and bed” said Barry White, head of consumer group Fat Lives Matter.
